On February 2nd, Artist & Community Organizer, Janique Crenshaw, led The Arts Center 2nd Saturday Collaborative Mural project celebrating Black History Month. The mural was inspired by the Kwanzaa principles of Ujima (Collective Work & Responsibility) and Umoja (Unity). All ages and abilities were welcome to participate in this collaborative mural celebrating African American figures whose contributions shaped history. Co-hosted by the Linn-Benton NAACP.
The Day K-Pop Came to Town
First ever K-Pop and Anime Cupsleeve Event in Albany, OR!
A Very Scary Halloween Cupsleeve Event!
Our second themed cupsleeve event was a success!
Illustrator and community event organizer, Janique Crenshaw (owner of Janique Crenshaw Illustration), is depicted smiling with three other artist friends and vendors positioned behind their vendor tables and artwork.
A gloomy October morning couldn’t stop our parade. I had stressed all month long to organize the Tricks & Treats Halloween Cupsleeve event, partnering with Bobo Boba bubble tea shop yet again! We were ambitious this time: expanding the event outdoors and incorporating a community art project. The event brought in folks from all over and was a scary good time.
